Revenue Sources & Financial Transparency

Assyfa Journal of Islamic Studies maintains a transparent financial framework to support sustainable scholarly publishing, editorial operations, digital infrastructure, and unrestricted access to academic research. Journal funding may include article processing charges, publisher support, institutional contributions, and other legitimate scholarly publishing activities. All financial arrangements must uphold editorial independence, publication ethics, and accountability. Financial contributions do not influence peer-review outcomes, editorial decisions, or manuscript acceptance.

Sources of Journal Revenue

01. Article Processing Charges

Article processing charges support manuscript production, digital publishing infrastructure, DOI registration, editorial administration, and long-term preservation. Fees apply according to the journal's officially published APC policy.

02. Publisher Support

Institutional and operational support from the publisher may contribute to journal management, website maintenance, editorial services, and publication infrastructure.

03. Institutional Contributions

Where applicable, financial or in-kind contributions from academic institutions and research partners may support scholarly activities, publication development, and international academic cooperation.

04. Publishing Services

Additional revenue may arise from legitimate publishing-related services, subject to transparent pricing, applicable agreements, and the journal's financial policies.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently of financial contributions. Manuscript acceptance depends on scholarly quality, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope.
