Global Indexing & DOI Integration

AJIS successfully integrated CrossRef DOI for all published articles. The journal also expanded its reach by being indexed in major academic databases, increasing its citation impact by 45% compared to the previous year.

2023
 

Migration to OJS 3.3

In mid-2023, the journal migrated to the latest Open Journal Systems (OJS) 3.3 framework. This year also marked the implementation of the "Double-Blind Peer Review" mandate as a core policy.

2022
 

Founding & First Issue

Assyfa Journal of Islamic Studies was officially established under CV Bimbingan Belajar Assyfa. The inaugural issue was published with a focus on contemporary Islamic education and social issues.

Evolution of Scope

Initially focused on Islamic Education, AJIS expanded its scope in early 2024 to include Islamic Law (Sharia), Islamic Economics, and Interdisciplinary Studies.
