Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh lirik lagu bertema seksual terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa sekolah menengah atas. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas, penelitian ini melibatkan 50 siswa dari dua sekolah di Jawa sebagai subjek. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes penalaran matematika dan kuesioner sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika melalui musik. Penelitian ini menggunakan lima lagu viral yang memiliki lirik dengan makna ganda, termasuk "Ngidam Pentol," "Jagung Rebus," serta lagu-lagu pop seperti "Sampai Jumpa," "Lagi Syantik," dan "Cinta Luar Biasa." Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan lirik lagu bertema seksual dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa sebesar 25%. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Secara khusus, siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dalam memahami konsep matematika yang kompleks ketika materi disajikan melalui musik, yang membuat pelajaran lebih menarik dan relevan secara budaya bagi siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi tinggi dalam pendidikan dengan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi musik dengan lirik bertema seksual yang viral dapat digunakan sebagai alat pedagogis yang efektif.
