Article Processing Charge

Publication Fee, Collaboration Scheme, International Author Scheme, and Fast Track Review

Assyfa Journal of Multidisciplinary Education (AJME) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support editorial management, peer review administration, copyediting, layout preparation, DOI registration, online publication, and journal maintenance.

AJME provides several publication fee schemes to support regular publication, research collaboration, international authorship, and authors who require prioritized review processing.

 

Important Notice: AJME does not charge a manuscript submission fee. Authors are not required to make payment during initial submission. Publication-related fees are invoiced only after the manuscript has received an official acceptance decision. Payment does not influence editorial decisions or reviewer recommendations.

 

AJME Publication Fee Schemes

1. Standard APC

REGULAR ARTICLE

IDR 750,000

The standard Article Processing Charge applies to accepted manuscripts that do not qualify for the collaboration or international first-author scheme.

Payment: Only after manuscript acceptance.

 

2. Collaboration APC

COLLABORATIVE ARTICLE

IDR 500,000

A reduced APC is available for manuscripts involving eligible research or institutional collaboration. The collaboration must be clearly reflected in the authorship and institutional affiliations stated in the manuscript.

Collaboration APC: IDR 500,000 per accepted article.

 

3. International First Author

FOREIGN FIRST AUTHOR

USD 30

A special APC of USD 30 applies when the first author is affiliated with an institution outside Indonesia. Eligibility is determined from the first author's institutional affiliation stated in the manuscript and OJS submission metadata.

Requirement: The first author must have a non-Indonesian institutional affiliation.

 

4. Fast Track Review

OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL SERVICE

+ IDR 250,000

Fast Track Review is an optional service for authors who request prioritized editorial handling and peer review processing. This fee is additional to the applicable APC scheme.

Important: Fast Track Review does not guarantee acceptance or publication.

Fast Track Fee Examples

Standard APC + Fast Track = IDR 1,000,000

Collaboration APC + Fast Track = IDR 750,000

International First Author = USD 30, plus the applicable Fast Track fee if requested.

 

Payment Policy

All publication fees are payable only after acceptance.

• There is no manuscript submission fee.

• No APC payment is required during initial submission.

• The applicable APC scheme is determined by the AJME editorial office based on the manuscript's authorship and affiliation information.

• The corresponding author will receive payment instructions after the manuscript has been officially accepted.

• Fast Track Review is optional and is charged in addition to the applicable APC.

 

Fast Track Review Policy

• Fast Track Review provides prioritized editorial handling and reviewer assignment, subject to reviewer availability and editorial workload.

• Fast Track manuscripts are evaluated using the same academic, ethical, and peer review standards as regular manuscripts.

• Fast Track Review does not guarantee acceptance, publication, or a positive reviewer recommendation.

• The additional Fast Track Review fee is IDR 250,000.

• If the manuscript is accepted, the Fast Track fee is invoiced together with the applicable publication fee.

 

Editorial Independence and Publication Ethics

APC payments, collaboration fee schemes, international author fees, and Fast Track Review payments do not influence editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated according to AJME's editorial standards, peer review procedures, publication ethics, originality requirements, and academic quality criteria.
