Scientific Vision & Focus

Assyfa Journal of Multidisciplinary Education (AJME) accepts original research manuscripts and literature reviews focusing on Multidisciplinary Education. We offer a platform for dissemination that bridges general educational practices with strong theoretical and methodological contributions.

Our vision integrates broad educational scopes (Curriculum, Tech, Evaluation) with strategic research clusters (Ethno-STEM, Digital Psychology, Sustainability) to address fundamental educational problems.

1

Core Scope of the Journal

The journal covers the following five foundational pillars of multidisciplinary education:

Curriculum and Learning Innovation Development of learning models, teaching strategies, and innovative curriculum design across various educational levels.
Educational Technology Implementation, effectiveness, and impact of technology use (e.g., AI, E-learning, gamification) in the teaching and learning process.
Educational Evaluation Studies on measuring learning outcomes, assessment, and evaluation of educational programs.
Teacher Professional Development Research concerning teacher competence, continuous professional development, and educational leadership.
Cross-Disciplinary Education Studies Research integrating social, cultural, psychological, and technological aspects in educational contexts.
2

Strategic Research Clusters

To ensure high impact and novelty, we specifically encourage submissions in these specialized areas:

Cluster Name Detailed Description & Topics
Ethno-STEM & Socio-Cultural Pedagogies
Culture as Cognitive Tool
Study of culture as a cognitive instrument in exact sciences learning.
  • Didactical Ethnomathematics: Analysis of cultural artifacts (e.g., Batik Lampung) to reduce cognitive load on spatial/geometric concepts.
  • E-RAISE Model: Integration of local cognitive values in science for scientific literacy.
  • Transition of informal knowledge (ethnoscience) to formal curriculum.
Digital Learning Psychology & Gamified Interventions
Behavioral Tech-Mediation
Focus on psychological aspects and student behavior mediated by technology.
  • Academic Behavior Mitigation: Interventions for procrastination and learning anxiety through narrative-visual media (interactive comics).
  • Cognitive Engagement: Effectiveness of gamification (Quizizz, Edmodo) on abstract materials.
  • Impact of gadgets on divergent creativity in early childhood (Digital ECE).
Specialized Pedagogy for Inclusive & Diverse Learners
Equity & Access
Instructional adaptation for equitable access to complex materials.
  • Adaptive Instruction for Special Needs: Pedagogical strategies for abstract concepts (divine/moral values) for students with special needs.
  • Inclusion Management: School policies and curriculum adaptation for integrating disabled students in regular classes.
Transdisciplinary Literacies & TPACK for SDGs
Future-Ready Education
Merging literacies to address sustainable development challenges.
  • TPACK & Climate Literacy Nexus: Facilitating environmental issues through numeracy skills.
  • ESD (Education for Sustainable Development): Strategic alliance models for SDG targets (Points 4, 8, 9, 13).
  • Design of contextual manipulative media (physical/digital) based on global issues.

The "Scopus Edge" Requirements:

To be accepted, articles must meet three strategic criteria:
1. Novelty of Model: Authors must demonstrate model modification or integration (e.g., "Integration of Probing-Prompting with Ethnomathematics artifacts").
2. Theoretical Bridging: Connecting local findings with global educational theories such as Constructivism, Socio-cultural Theory (Vygotsky), or Self-Determination Theory (SDT).
3. Methodological Rigor: Data analysis must be in-depth. Use techniques like N-Gain analysis, Cohen’s d effect size, or data triangulation for research validity.
