Publication Ethics and Misconduct

Ethical Standards Compliance (COPE)

AJME adheres strictly to the highest standards of publication ethics based on COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

Misconduct and Consequences

  • Plagiarism: Submission of plagiarized content (including self-plagiarism) is strictly prohibited. Violation will result in immediate rejection and blacklisting. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.
  • Data Fabrication: Data fabrication or falsification is prohibited. Authors must be prepared to provide raw data for editorial review upon request.
  • Authorship Abuse: Ghost, Guest, or Gift Authorship is strictly forbidden. All listed authors must have made a substantial contribution to the research.
  • Multiple Submission: Manuscripts must be original and should not have been previously published or be under consideration elsewhere simultaneously.
  • Correction & Retraction: AJME follows COPE guidelines for handling allegations of misconduct, corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions.
