Article Processing Charge (APC)

All articles published in the Journal of Language Evaluation and Instructional Research (JLEIR) are freely available online immediately upon publication (Gold Open Access). To sustain our commitment to premium academic editing, international-standard peer review, and barrier-free access, we require an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.

These fees cover the broad range of publishing services we provide, including online submission systems, editorial coordination, double-blind peer-review management, professional copyediting, XML/typesetting production, web hosting, abstracting and indexing services, and permanent archiving via Crossref DOIs.

USD per Manuscript

Effective from January 1, 2026. This fee applies only upon formal editorial and reviewer acceptance of the manuscript.

Color Graphics Add-on
$50.00
USD per Color Page

Additional fee applied for manuscripts containing specialized colored images or complex layouts (subject to editor agreement).

Submission & Review Phase

FREE

JLEIR does not charge any fees for manuscript submission or for the peer-review process. Authors are only invoiced after their work has successfully passed the rigorous editorial evaluation and peer review stages.
