The International Conference on Game Based Learning (ICGBL) is dedicated to fostering ethical research practices in the field of educational technology and ludic pedagogy. We adhere to the principles of transparency and best practices as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Reviewers assist the editorial board in making decisions and through editorial communications with the author may also assist the author in improving the paper.
Originality: Authors must ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others, that this has been appropriately cited.
Multiple Publication: An author should not in general publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication.
Plagiarism is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate disqualification.
ICGBL will take all appropriate measures to clarify the situation and to amend the article in question should malpractice be suspected. This includes the publication of an erratum or, in the most severe cases, the complete retraction of the work.
