The ICGBL provides a premier multidisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Game-Based Learning and Gamification. Our mission is to advance the integration of interactive technologies into pedagogical frameworks to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.
Instructional design for serious games, narrative and storytelling in GBL, mechanics, dynamics, and aesthetics (MDA) for learning, and balancing fun with educational objectives.
