Abstract

This paper explores Abdulla h Nashi h Ulwan's ideas about exemplary methods and their urgency i n mora l educatio n. I n this writing, the author uses the Content Analysis approac h, so that the results of the study are not numbers but interpretations and words. The data collectio n was carried out wit h literature review techniques by making the boo k Tarbiyatu l Aulad Fi l Isla m by Abdulla h Nashi h Ulwa n as primary data, and the literature relating to the object of this study as secondary data. The n the data collected is analyzed using content analysis, i.e., by sorting out the data collected to analyze its contents according to what is needed so that a conclusio n ca n be draw n. This researc h proves as follows: 1) According to Nashi h Ulwa n, the exemplary method is a method used i n educatio n i n the context of forming the character of childre n by means of educators providing good role models for childre n. The examples of role models that must be exemplified by a n educator are humility, courage, patience, honesty, piety, and firmness i n childre n. 2) The importance of mora l educatio n i n a n educator must have a character or character that reflects good behavior i n al l aspects, especially i n aspects of worshi p and morals. Educators must instil l good attitude or role models i n childre n.
